This ma
t after finalized will have the size of 78 x 47 and we will spend only one roll of yarn number 6 - 100% cotton with 400gr.
MATERIALS
- Yarn # 6 - Color of your choice
- Crochet Needle 3.5mm
- Scissors and needle for cutter for cuts and finishes
- Carpet size: 78 x 47 (if you want to make a larger size just repeat the reason)
- This model is ideal for making treadmills, door mats or kitchen set. To make a crossbar for kitchen just make a bigger size with 120cm and if you want to make the complete game make 2 more in this size presented. (Download the chart to make it easier!)
- Return to chain 2 by counting the needle back and make low. After the low make two chains to give height of the first high point.
- Well now just keep making high point in all the chains until you reach the end. We will have a total of 64 high points. (We made 65 chains but one of them is forming a perfect corner on the rug)
- 2nd row - Make two chains, wrap the thread on the needle, turn the work over and make 3 more stitches (Be careful not to make it over the first base point since the chains are already forming the first stitch). Look carefully at the pictures:
The sequence with 4 high points is called "full block" and in the graph it is represented by a square that is colored and in some cases has an x inside the square.
- Make two chains, skip 2 base points and make 4 high points. See in the second image that we have 1 full pad, one empty pad and again full pad ... The empty pad will always be a space of two chains between the high points.
- Make two chains, skip 2 base points and 4 higher points again ... continue to intersperse to the end and the last high point is made on top of the two chains. We'll have a total of 11 full blobs and 10 empty blobs.
- 3rd row - Make two chains, wrap the thread on the needle, turn the work over, this career is all with high points again, after turning make 3 more high points and in the spaces of two chains make 2 high points, follow through Career and will have 64 points equal to the first career.
- 4th row - Make two chains, wrap the thread in the needle, turn the work over and make 3 more stitches, make two streams of space, jump 2 base points and make a sequence of 7 high points that equals 2 full pads .
- Make two streams of space, skip two base points and make a high point, now we will have an "empty pad".
- Again two streams of space, jump 2 base points and make high point ... continue until completing a total of 13 empty blocks.
- Make a sequence of 7 high points, two streams of space and skip 2 base points, make 4 high points ending the race.
- 5th row - Make two chains, wrap the thread in the needle, turn the work and we will follow with a sequence of 16 high points already counting on the chains that we made to turn. Remember, in the spaces of two chains make only 2 high points and note that I pointed with the needle in the third image that we will finish the sequence at the top towards the empty pad.
- Make two chains and high point over high point to make empty pad ... follow until complete a total of 5 empty blocks. Make 2 high points in the space of two chains and high point on top of the high point forming 1 full pad.
- Follow with 5 empty blocks and then we will again have the sequence of 16 high points finishing the race.
- 6th row - Make two chains, wrap the thread on the needle, turn the work over and make 3 high stitches by completing the first pad. Make two streams of space, jump 2 base points and make a high point.
- Go with another 12 high points. Make a sequence of 3 blank blocks.
- Follow with 3 filled notepads (10 high points in a row), 3 empty notepads and the sequence of 4 filled notepads (sequence of 13 high points)
- Make two chains, skip 2 base points and make 4 high points by finishing the course.
- 7th row - Make two chains, wrap the thread on the needle, turn the work and follow with 9 more high points that are equivalent to 3 pads.
- Make an empty notepad, make 9 more high points to form 3 filled notepads, again 1 empty notepad.
- After the empty pad, we will make one more 15 high points that are equivalent to 5 full blobs, see in the first image that I pointed with the needle to where we will go with high points.
- Make 1 empty pad again, follow with 9 more high points that are equivalent to 3 full pads, make 1 empty pad and then keep high until the end of the career.
- 8th row - Make two chains, wrap the thread on the needle and turn the work over and make 3 more stitches by completing the first filled pad. Make two chains, jump 2 base points and make 4 high points again and then we will have the side of the carpet. (The sides are formed by 3 rows of blocks and the middle one is inserted between full and empty)
- Make a sequence of 2 empty blocks and then make 9 more high points completing 3 more filled blocks.
- Make 1 empty pad, 1 filled pad, 1 empty pad again and then go with 9 more high points forming 3 filled pad.
- Make: 1 empty pad, 1 full pad, 2 empty pad, 1 filled pad, 1 empty pad and 1 filled pad ending the career.
- 9th career - Make two chains, turn the work over and make 9 more high points forming 3 full pads.
- Make 3 empty blocks, follow with 9 more high points forming 3 filled blocks.
- Sequence of 3 empty blocks, 3 filled blocks, 3 empty blocks again and then we will insert the side of the carpet with 1 filled block, 1 empty and 1 full.
- 10th career - Make two chains, turn the work and make 3 high points, make two chains, skip 2 base points and make 4 high points by completing the side.
- Make 2 empty notepads and 1 filled notepad.
- Again 1 empty pad and then go with 9 more high points (as far as I pointed with the needle) forming 3 full pads. Look at the pictures:
- Make 1 empty pad, 1 full pad, 1 empty pad again.
- Follow with 9 more high points forming 3 full blocks, make 2 empty blocks and we will do the side by inserting 1 full block and 1 empty block ending the race.
- 11th career - After making two chains and turning make 9 high points completing the side with 3 full blocks.
- Make an empty notepad and follow it with a sequence of 3 filled notepads (10 high points in a row with the high point of the blank notepad)
- Make 1 empty pad, 3 full pads
- Make an empty pad, 1 filled pad, again 1 empty pad and 3 filled pad. Look at the pictures:
- Make an empty notepad and then go with high point until the end completing the career.
- 12th row - Make two chains to give height to the first high point, turn and do the side with 1 full pad, 1 empty pad and 1 full pad.
- Make an empty notepad and then we will follow with a sequence of 4 filled notebooks. See I pointed with the needle. (There are 13 consecutive high points)
- Make 1 empty pad and let's do a sequence of 3 filled blocks again.
- Make 2 empty blocks, 3 filled blocks, make 1 empty block and insert 1 full, 1 empty and 1 full to complete the course.
- 13th career - Make two strings to make the height of the first high point, turn and follow with 9 more high points completing the 3 filled blocks on the side.
- Make 1 empty pad and we will follow with 5 full pads, there are 16 consecutive high points.
- Make 1 empty pad and we will follow with 6 more filled blocks, there are 22 consecutive high points. Make 1 empty pad and follow with 22 more high points in a row, forming 6 more filled blocks.
- Make 1 empty pad and follow with 3 filled pads completing the career.
- 14th row - Make two chains to give height to the first high point, turn and make the side with 1 full block, 1 empty and 1 full.
- Make 7 full blobs (19 high points in a row)
- Make 1 empty pad and we will follow with 6 full pads again. (There are 19 consecutive high points and they are as shown in the pictures below)
- Make 1 empty pad and the side is interspersed with 1 filled pad, 1 empty pad and 1 filled pad ending the course.
- 15th career - Here we will finish the first reason and start the second heart work, so pay close attention to understand the drawing well. Start with the two chains and the side are 3 filled blocks.
- Make 1 more filled notepad that will already be the tip of the second heart loop that we will start. Then make 1 empty pad.
- To finish the first heart we will make 4 full blobs (13 high points in a row)
- Make 3 empty blocks and 4 full blocks again. Notice that we have finished the first drawing on the rug.
- Make 1 empty pad and follow with 4 full pads, (1 equals the tip of the next drawing and another 3 are the side of the carpet)
- Now you just have to repeat the drawing from the 5th career as I explained in step # 12. The side of the carpet needs to be interlaced, so even going back in step # 12 note that the side of the drawing will be different, so consider drawing only the Part of the carpet excluding the sides. In the pictures below I repeated the 5th, 6th and started the seventh career. You can look at the top of the rug and see that I did exactly the same in the middle and only the side are not the same.
- Now just keep repeating until you reach the desired length, do not forget to finish the first 3 rows that are one full, one intercalated and one full so that it is exactly the same as the beginning of the carpet.
- The finish you can choose one of your preference, I will explain how to do a simple good and that is well harmonious with the carpet. As soon as you complete the last career make two chains to make the height of the first high point, in the same place make two more high points in the corner of the carpet.
- Make two streams of space, skip a career and attach with low. Make a current of space, skip a career and let's make a fan formed by 3 high points, 2 chains and 3 high points.
- Make a current of space, jump a career and attach with low. See that the fan will always match the full side and the low always on the side where the empty pad is ... Go to the end of the side.
- Arriving at the end of the side before making the fan at the end of the carpet again make two streams of space. Make the fan at the high point of the carpet.
- After the corner fan make two chains, jump 3 base points and attach with low at the next point. Now we are going to make only one current of space, jump 3 base points and make 1 fan ... go all the way around, remember that in the corners the chains before and after the fan have two chains. Arriving at the end we will complete the first fan.
- Arriving at the end, make 3 high points in the corner where you already have 3 high points, make two streams of space, stretch the thread and cut to finish with a needlepoint.
- Thread the wire backwards from the top of the second high point (Note: the first high point is formed by two chains)
- Pass inside the last chain that we just made after completing the lap, pass inside the second chain that formed the first high point coming out in the back, do the final finishing, now just cut the points and that's it!
Here the final result of the rug!
We have reached the end of yet another step by step, I hope you have enjoyed it. I take this opportunity to thank you for sharing this work and also for all your comments. Strong hug and good things always!
